Nec VS many classes

Two warriors were talking shit to each other in general the other day...decided to head to arena, think they may have been buddies and were just messing around, but got a gathering of about 15-20 peeps in the arena that turned into a FFA. 2 necros counting myself, paladin that i saw, ranger, BL, zerker, the 2 warriors, and a cleric that i actually saw participating. May have been another warrior and bard there for a bit but they decided against PvP at the time /shrug. I haven't pvp'd forever, especially since i've been gone from game for almost 5 years, but i mem'd my corruption spells and shadowstep and a few others and went to town.

The melee all started to gang up on the casters of course. We started on the warriors first, between me and other necro they died in about a minute maybe even using potions. The BL and I then focused on each other, apparently(I didn't know this going in) FD makes pet lose agro. With shadowstep and whisperwind and his pet not chasing me, he didnt even know where i was half the time, ran BL out of arena to heal 3 times.....he didnt make it on the 4th lulz.

I stayed away from paladin at first because him and the ranger began attacking each other. Ranger disappeared and Zerker died in there somewhere, must've been the other necro. After BL died, we both focused on paladin....it wasnt pretty. Empty arena other than the two necros /grin.....as we were setting there BS'ing, wizzy comes in and pops all disc's and owns us. I was at 11% health before i knew I was getting hit lol. Other necro same thing.

By time i got back into fight went straight for wizzy for some payback, he was using potions of course but I figured if I popped infusion i could last long enough to own him with my orbs but by that time, others had returned and the paladin was attacking me and pulled all my swarm pets away and shit, wizzy eventually got me a second time although he did admit the paladin was probably the deciding factor. Next time it will be in a regular zone with no potions and self buffs only hehe.

On a side note...my resists are all 750 or 755 atm except corruption which is horrible....how was that wizzy landing spells on me so easily, my acute focus of the arcanum is 10 min recast, are wizzy's lower recast than that or do they have corruption based nukes or something?

Ranger got me once, again, paladin was attacking me, got back and they were attacking each other so i loaded up on ranger and popped robe/thirdspire and bye bye. Paladin and I were last ones in arena messing around and we both decided not to go at each other as neither had enough time lol......all in all, was a fun time but I won't be dueling any rangers one on one anytime soon I don't think.

everyone has spells that will hit anyone eventually regardless of resists i refer to as pvp spells. it's just rolling dice, man. if a wizard unloads on you some of his/her nukes are gonna get through no matter what your resists are if they are using pvp spells. i think ice is what wizards are supposed to use to pvp with.
