Dear Members,

I just want to thank you all for making Necrotalk one of the best Everquest communities out there! We have been online now for 7 years, and are still kicking. I think its fair to say we are one of the "original" MMORPG forums still around.

I remember I started this community when I posted on the "other" necromancer boards and was shunned and ridiculed for being a noob. Thats when I decided I would make my own place for Necromancers where even beginners could come and ask whatever questions they liked without being put down.

It did not take long before a tight knit community started to form. Some of those origional members are still around today.

Now thanks to our subscribers and supporters the site's operating costs are covered. As long as we have continual subscribers as we do now, the site will stay operational for years to come.

Perhaps some day we will consider expansion as an option to keep things moving forward. This is something myself and the staff have considered before but have not yet decided on a proper path that would cause the least amount of disruption to our community. If you have any ideas or suggestions on this, and on how we can improve Necrotalk, please feel free to send myself or the staff a PM.

Thanks again for all your support and the effort you have put in to keep this community going strong for so long.

Awesome, happy 7th!

I had been a lurker for years, long before I switched mains to my current necro and eventually registered. I've always had a habbit for surfing all the class boards to find information - sometimes you find interesting ideas or strats where you least expect them. As a former magician, there was stuff here that applied and greatly broadened my scope of abilities. And we've all been noobs at some time or another - and like Umbrello said...that I & others was & still am able to ask noob stuff here & get actual responses instead of internet_cool_guy_sarcasm for asking is why I really love this place.

We have extreme diversity of players here, representing the entire scope of player levels & play styles. It's been a high-point of my gaming career to be part of this community!

Fantastic effort Umbrello and helpers.

This really is a great site and the info posted by players is simply awesome. It's the best class site I've ever been a part of and I am more than happy to donate to support it,

And as for scrat, I think we need an International year of the Scrat!!

It's great to be a part of this community and looking over the past 5 years that I've been actually registered here (and about a year and a half before that I was a lurker...), I've seen quite a bit of the stuff that was listed here, posted here or flamed here, ha ha! NT has ALWAYS been a collaborative effort of bringing information together from the various sites around the Web and I look forward to what the future holds!
