Anyone know how long it takes to get ally with the various factions in SoF?
Currently i am in LP, doing the gobby quests 2, doing the Worgs, Orcs, and Shadowmanes from Tyranium (sp?). Then i do "Taking back the night" from another guy in LP.
Plus run the special delivery quest from Fendon daily, along with "spy reports" or "special delivery" (Fang breakers faction).
Concentrating on tryin got get ally fang breakers 1st, just wondering how many of these i'll end up doing to get that much faction. I'll read back thru my quest log to find out how many i have done so far, i know its quite a few.
Also does each one, act, errand, or combat, then the various quest you get in LP, do they all pay the same amount of faction or do some pay more than others? I would hope that killing 20 worgs, pays more than the "tiny Worgs" deal as an example.
Thanks again, SC.

to collect ore from goblins and turn in. He is Fang Breakers. I made ally with them just from doing the turn in clay quest while killing gattors. No idea how many it took since I never noticed exactly when I got ally.
Yep doing the gators quest as well. I usually play with a shamman friend of mine and we just roam from camp to camp and kill what we need and move. Usually end up completing 2 or 3 a run.
Didnt know i could collect ore from the Goblins, i'll get that one as well. So thet will be 3 for Gobbys once i get the 10 crates for the one "shipping supplies" quest.
Fendin rewards you with +25 faction points for each faction-based task. So singular faction-wise, you can do a maximum of 2 faction tasks per day: one errand, one combat.
Since the combat all involve killing critters that provide faction hits, and are kill-10's, then you technically get +60 faction from Fendin every day (+25 errand, +25 combat, +10 from combat kills).
It is also generally accepted that other faction quests (not related to fenden) also reward +25 points.
1800 faction points is generally accepted as required to reach ally faciton, and it will take you 30 days to hit ally using the Fenden route only.
Be sure to research using alla's on the factions you seek to see other quests & mob kills to help you along. Fangbreakers, for example, can be pretty fast if you take advantage of your standard options (pre-fenden) since they have no lockouts.
I have 5 errands, 10 attacks, and 2 Taking back the nights (Orcs and Shadowmanes) i just broke into apprehensive, so i'll keep plugging away.
Usually do the 3 Gobby quests, Worgs, Orcs, the kill 20s. Then the Orcs and Shadows, and the Attack for FB's from Fendon. I work all of them at the same time usually.
So it should be long.
The way i figure it, i should be around 850 usualy your outline there, thanks for that its very handy.
Last night I finally got Ally with Crusaders of Veeshan, doing the "kill 10 goos" and "deliver this to Skyshrine" tasks. The GH portals make this go a little faster. Still took approximately a month I think to get high enough.
Trying to get an idea what i am in for, just started on this myself.
Thanks, Sc.
You can also do the loot quests that require you to loot drops from mobs in Crystallos. There are 4 loot quests given by a npc in DSH in the camp with the big telescope. Each quests requires you to loot drops from mobs in a certain wing in Crystallos.
I found that a T5 merc healer could heal my pet on the trash mobs w/out slow. A pure group geared necro or one who doesn't have most/all pet related AA may have a harder time with the mobs.
On Nameless I never saw another person in Crystallos so no mobs were contested.
I think I did 4 or 5 skyshrine runs and 8 or so loot quests before I had enough faction to buy spells.
