Default Great Divide

I must admit, I am disappointed, all these guides and few mentions of this place. Like a lot of people I was grinding out the 30s in the Keep, gobbies are a bit slow until you learn the right way to do it and even then mistakes are made. I was sitting there happy as can be, just dinged 32 and doin well when I pulled 2 yellows and a white or grey or whatever the hell the color scheme is now, the one that used to be white and now only gives you xp once in a while. Anyway! Back to the point, I died, lost my level, was slightly miffed. Sitting in the Nexus I decided lets hit GD see how that looks, maybe hit CC get some gems. Popped into GD went for the Tizmak and (after a pit stop with the dwarves that look a bit like zombies (no I'm not a noob, I know they are the Coldain)) got a very happy surprise! they were dark blue!!!! Oh happy bloody day! So I get all set, got my pet a wep and went to work, ended up haveing to tank a little because the pet couldn't do the job but one kill got me my level PLUS 15%, that is exact to the percent, i was at 98% after my unding so I got 17%!!!!
Thought to myself, hell to the yeah! This is my new home. I'm making up to 11% a kill at level 33, 7% on LBs and a STANDARD 10% on DB champions. It's a little manna intensive and the loot kinda sucks, only the weps are worth having.

And now, my method
Find a runner, don't pick one of the guys at the 3 entrances or by the tree unless you know you can break the set easily, these guys move fast.

Hit them with Dooming Darkness

Send in pet with taunt OFF (level 29 pet can not tank these guys, you have to aggro/fear kite)

Boil Blood
Heart Flutter

You will have to re-cast your snare at about 20% sooner if you can, Boil blood and Heart flutter wear off at about 40 and 30% respectively. with 193 INT I can kill 3 before I need to med, that is without any of our Lich line or any chanter buffs, just me nekkid and saving enough for FD if I need it.

I am about to ding 34, 30 minutes broken up into killin random spawns and writing this thing, hell of a lot better than the Keep.

So there it is, Just dinged 34

Dinged 35, Tizzy are light blue without going into the caves, decided to hit CoM, on my way to the book saw a dire and thought "why not" got 9% off it, so here I am, root rotting wolves and a giant here and there. well on my way to 36, 3 more kills at most. Honestly GD is a bloody dream, even killed a shardwurm, not worth the 9% it gave me since I was near OOM when I finished it off. Gonna stay here a while, see how high I can go before XP drops off, I'll keep updating

Your pet will do much better decked out in summoned pet gear. He can use any of the armor but make sure the weapons are in his level range so they'll proc, either the fists of xiblat (sp?) or sword of walnan should do the trick.

GD used to be the place to go when velius was current. Starting at lvl 25ish and could go all the way to 50 even though the exp drops significantly.
